How much do these wraps cost?

Essentially, the wraps come with two price tags, both reasonable:

1: Built from scratch: Where the stories needs to be written, photos gathered, pages designed. Cost: $500

2. Reformatted: Where everything is done except for things like reformatting to fit your presses and adding your logo. Click here for a list of reformatted wraps to choose from. Cost: $200

The reformatted wraps are where you save the big money. Imagine trying to put one of these wraps together yourself: the design, photos, written stories ... it's a tall order to get that professionally done for under $200. And we'll turn it around in just a few days.

What happens once we order
an event wrap?

Once you order an Event wrap, someone gets in contact with your platemaking department to find out the printable area of your newspaper.

We also require that someone at the newspaper e-mail us your newspaper's logo, to display at the top of your wrap.

Next, you'll need to pick a date to get your first proof delivered to you. Proofs are delivered via e-mail as a low resolution PDF file. You e-mail us back any changes or corrections you need, and we send you back a second proof to approve.

Once you give the thumbs up, you'll receive a high resolution PDF to the place (an FTP site) that your printers have designated.

Can we sell an ad, or even a sponsor?

It's recommended. Not only is it a good idea to make up for some of your costs in production and printing, but it's also a smart way of getting new advertisers into the mix. Some newspapers will sell a 6x3 across the bottom of the last page. Others put a logo at the top of page one with the words "sponsored by."

Can we give these away at events?

You'll have to investigate this one. You definitely want to make sure you're following ABC guidelines, because you want these sales to count toward your circulation. When in doubt, ask someone who's already gone through the drill. Go to our quotable page for contact info.

Can our paper get a discount if we buy multiple wraps?

Definitely. If your company schedules (in advance) 10 or more wraps at a time, your event wrap price drops $25 a wrap. If you schedule (in advance) 20 or more wraps, your event wrap price drops $50 a wrap.

How do I set up sales at a venue?

Once again, check with the experts. Some newspapers sell outside the venue, some get permission to go indoors and others actually have naming rights, which makes it even easier. Go to our quotable page for contact info.
